Summary: Supported primary structure sizing and validation for a very light aircraft using classical methods and FEA; contributed to aerodynamic and structural integration.
Focus areas:
- Composite structure sizing, buckling and stability checks
- Global FEM model development and validation
- Stiffener strength, crippling/local buckling, and warping calculations
- Highly loaded stiffener checks under flexural and local-instability criteria (Bruhn, Niu, Roark, EASA CS-23, FAA FAR 23)
